At England's Twycross Zoo, Bugsy the nine-year-old French bulldog has traditionally looked after the zoo's orphaned animals. One of the orphans that Bugsy took under his care is Malone, a six-year-old orangutan abandoned by his mother. Malone will eventually join the other orangutans when he's a bit older, but for now, he seems to be in loving and safe paws.
Who says apes and dogs can't get along? Let's hope that Malone still has play dates with Bugsy when he moves in with his fellow orangutans.
